Why Spartan Eye Care?
During your eye examination at Spartan Vision Center, our technicians and doctors will utilize the latest technological advances in diagnostic and prescription services to assess both your vision and ocular health. Your designated technician will employ instruments to measure your current prescription, assess the curvature of the front of your eye (astigmatism), and conduct a non-contact glaucoma screening by gently puffing air to measure eye pressure. This comprehensive examination also includes the use of our state-of-the-art retinal camera to capture images of the back of your eyes without the need for dilation, unless it's necessary due to preexisting conditions or age recommendations. Retinal photography is a quick and painless test used to assess the health of the back of your eyes. Dr. Roubos will review your retinal photographs with you, explaining the crucial structures essential for maintaining eyesight and what he needs to closely monitor during your annual eye examination. This monitoring helps identify early structural changes or evidence of conditions such as Diabetes, Hypertension, Vascular Disease, Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration, and other ocular signs of systemic disease related to your ocular health.
